Registered Massage Therapist's are regulated health professionals that are trained in the assessment and treatment of soft tissue structures such as muscle, fascia, tendon and ligaments. Our massage therapists work with patients to help alleviate their pain, tension and stress, improve range of motion, mobility, posture and overall physical function. Massage therapy also supports tissue repair and healing by increasing circulation (blood flow), bringing more oxygen and other nutrients to the tissue. Massage techniques offered by our RMTs include Swedish, deep tissue massage, myofascial release and trigger point therapy.

Dr. Terry earned a Bachelor of Kinesiology with a minor in psychology from the University of Toronto, followed by a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. Additionally, she holds a certificate in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture from McMaster University. She is fluent in French and English, and conversational in Arabic.

Her approach to pain is holistic, focusing on addressing the root causes of musculoskeletal issues and their social, emotional, and biological implications. She has clinical experience treating people of all ages for numerous conditions, and aims to help them reach their health and performance goals through individualized treatment plans.

Clinically, Dr. Terry has a special interest in treating headaches, vertigo, TMJ, sports injuries, and tailbone pain, using muscle release techniques, joint adjustments, and acupuncture. She also emphasizes patient education, empowering people to regain control over their pain with tailored home exercise programs and self-care strategies.

Sabrina graduated from Brock University with an Honours Bachelor’s Degree of Kinesiology. During her time at Brock University, Sabrina worked as a student strength and conditioning intern with the varsity rowing team learning how to develop sport specific training skills. Sabrina also trained as a competitive gymnast for several years where she has learned many skills that have benefited her education such as strength and conditioning training and mobility training. Shehraj graduated from Brunel University London with a master’s degree in Physiotherapy. His commitment to evidence-based practice ensures that the treatments provided are grounded in the latest research, to ensure optimal outcomes for his patients. He believes that every person’s situation is unique, and thus believes in a personalized approach in creating a treatment plan to help his patients achieve their goals. Shehraj believes that patients should be active participants in their recovery. He is committed to guiding, teaching, and providing the tools needed for patients to not only recover, but also understand their condition and know what they must do after recovery to maintain their overall wellbeing going forwards. Before heading to the United Kingdom to study physiotherapy, Shehraj earned a Honours Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from York University, which gave him a strong foundation and knowledge of the underlying biological processes that affect recovery. Prior to joining Dusk Physiotherapy, Shehraj gained valuable experience at Altum Health for University Health Network, Canada’s largest hospital network, treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions while working alongside a large team of healthcare professionals such as medical doctors, occupational therapists, chiropractors, psychologists, and registered kinesiologist to provide comprehensive care for complex conditions. After graduating from York University with a degree in Kinesiology, Amanda obtained her Massage Therapy diploma from Bryan College in 2020 with honours. She is looking to continue to apply her knowledge of anatomy and athletics to her practice. After joining the Dusk family in January 2023, her passion for giving back to the community continues to grow through meeting new clients and helping existing ones.
